Join us for the first workshop in a four-part series designed just for our network by the data SMEs at Combined Arms, an NVI Local Partner. 

Learning objectives

In this session, we'll cover the following:

  • Introduction and Overview to the Cohort Sections, Sessions, Guest Presenters, Policy Questions, Outcomes, Dates/Times/Tech
  • Understand the value of data, how it can be collected, analyzed, and reported in order to improve your clients' outcomes and your collaborative's impact
  • Review the differences between quantitative and qualitative data and the four methods of data collection

Policy questions

During the course of this session, we will address the following questions:

  • What is data and why is it important? 
  • How is it collected? 
  • How is it analyzed? 
  • How is it organized and reported? 
  • How can we draw upon the story data tells in how we serve veterans?

Expert presenters

We'll be instructed and guided during this session by these subject matter experts:

  • John Boerstler, Combined Arms CEO
  • Dr. Elisa Borah, Director of the University of Texas Institute for Military Veteran Family Wellness

This learning cohort series is a Local Partner exclusive. There are 20 total seats available to Local Partners only on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrants must commit to all four workshops (7/16, 7/30, 8/6, 8/20) and additional individual coaching sessions (scheduled based on availability).
